BEING SKETCH ON THE REG

I open on a sketch for a zine. This was done in reflection of the disastrous fate a beautiful body of water and its community faced this past December. A river that fuels Earths environment and ecosystem.

Hello Rio Doce.

A seemingly small part of the Earth, miles away from my hometown. This river provides sustenance to the most wonderful creatures in our ecosystem.

As big corporations douse our worlds ecosystem, what will be left? Muddy waters, human casualties, and animal cruelty.

Why can't we just let our natural world grow, as we grow. Find a balance and coexist. Separate our mentality of take, pave, and conquer.
